Suddenly, photography for me has changed. I have always had a passion and a love for the camera, but now it is something more. For me, photography is an outlet; a way to capture magic and express myself through two people who have found themselves bound by an incredible love. I catch myself smiling when I see a couple exchange vows, kiss and dance for the very first time. I wait for that exact moment when a child turns to me and flashes that smile that mom and dad get to see every day. I experience all of this through the viewfinder of my camera, yet somehow the lens brings me closer. It allows me to reach beyond the surface of every day life and enables me to capture the great love and forever commitment between two people; that one glance between the bride and groom that explains their dedication toward each other. And the moment a mother picks up her child and gives a hug and a peck on the cheek, my camera is there. To me, photography is more than just showing up and taking pictures; it is my true passion and I embrace every moment as if it were my own.

"I began to realise that film sees the world
differently than the human eye, and that
sometimes those differences can make a
photograph more powerful than what you
  actually observed."
